Hmmmm, not so sure about that.I set the device up some months ago on my Windows box, and it's fine there. I've set an IP address on it, and that allows me to get into the admin utility from anywhere on my network, Win or Mac. But still I can't map a connection to in on Leopard.PS - the inbuilt iTunes server work ok too to both platforms.Any ideas? Recently I kinda use my iMac more often than my PC. Since I use this DNS-323 as my photo bank, I want to connect it to my iMac so I just could retrieve any photo that I want easily. The problem is that I get confuse how to connect the DNS to the iMac? My iMac model is iMac 4,1 with Intel Core Duo 2 Ghz. I found that there's a search software for the PC to find out the DNS-323, but I don't see any for Macintosh. Why the producer doesn't notice this as databank server like this would also being used by Mac user?

Anyone could help me out as I'm not familiar with Macintosh networking itself? Thanks in advance. I assume you know the IP address of the DNS-323 unit. It is the same IP address you use to configure DNS-323 using your Web browser. I strongly recommend to assign a static local IP for DNS-323. Use the following procedure to connect from iMac:In Finder menu, go to 'Connect Network', enter the following into the address bar:smb://DNS-323IPaddress/Volumename if prompted, enter your DNS-323 user name and password. Here is an example: (yours will be different)smb://10.0.1.150/Volume1Hope this helps.
